Upon arrival at the meeting location, Guterres welcomed Prabowo.Afterwards they took a group photo session.

The meeting took place after Prabowo gave a speech at a high -level international conference for peaceful settlement of Palestinian problems and the implementation of two countries’ solutions.
Foreign Minister Sugiono said that at the meeting Prabowo stressed the importance of global solidarity in maintaining world stability and peace.
Then, Prabowo also encouraged joint efforts to sustainable development and strengthen the role of developing countries in the multilateral system.
“He said that Indonesia remained in its commitment to support a multilateral system and still believe that the United Nations is an organization that must be strengthened in order to maintain peace over the world,” Sugiono said in his statement.
In addition, Prabowo and Guterres also discussed a number of strategic issues, ranging from Indonesia’s commitment to support the peaceful settlement of the Palestinian conflict through a two -state solution and fully support the UN efforts in carrying out its mandate.
Then, Prabowo also stressed that Indonesia’s readiness contributed to the peace mission, especially related to the situation in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Guterres was accompanied by Deputy Secretary General Amina Mohammed, Executive Office Director for UN Secretary General’s policy Guy Ryder, Director of the Office of Political Affairs and Peace Rosemary Dicarlo, Director of the Sustainable Development Unit, Eosg Karima El Korri, and Recused EOSG Political Unit Hirofumi Goto.
