“We must recognize Palestine now. We must stop the humanitarian disaster in Gaza, and ending the war must be our top priority. We must overcome hatred, fear. We must overcome suspicion,” Prabowo said.
“We must achieve the peace needed by humanity. We are ready to take part on this journey to peace. We are willing to provide peacekeeping forces,” he continued.
After that, the microphone died while Prabowo was still delivering a presentation for a few moments.It appears that the protocol officers who also approached the pulpit, at the end of Prabowo’s speech.
The voices of President Prabowo were only heard again through the microphone at the end of the speech.
“Thank you very much. Peace, peace now, peace immediately. We need peace. Thank you very much,” the President said.

The Director of Media Information of the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hartyo Harkomoyo, explained that there was a procedure that each country had the opportunity for five minutes to speak at the forum.
“If the speech is more than five minutes, the mic will be turned off,” Hartyo said in his statement.
“So sounds that are not heard in video or streaming, due to speeches that are more than the specified time,” he added.
But the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that even though the microphone was turned off, President Prabowo’s speech was still heard clearly by the delegates in the room.
The Summit regarding Palestine and the Solution of Two Countries is a series of 80th General Assembly Sessions of the United Nations (Unga) held at the UN headquarters, New York, United States.
The Summit was initiated by France and Saudi Arabia, each represented by French President Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
The first session of the Summit began with a speech from President Macron, Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister, and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
The second session continued with a short speech from 33 delegation leaders representing the country and state associations such as the European Union and the Arab League.
President Prabowo spoke fifth, after King Jordan Abdullah II in the first place, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in second place, Brazilian President Luiz InĂ¡cio Lula Da Silva, and Portugal President Marcelo Nuno Duarte Rebelo de Sousa.
