Lubas said five injured victims were in a stable condition and were expected to recover.He identified the perpetrators as Sergeant Quornelius Radford, but his motive was unknown.
The shooting in military facilities in the United States is relatively rare, although some of them are related to alleged terror attacks.
Lubas said the weapons used were not military weapons, but “private pistols” owned by the perpetrators.
US President Donald Trump called the incident as a “savagery” and told reporters that the Army Criminal Investigation Division would ensure the perpetrators “were tried with the maximum sentence according to the law.”
Meanwhile, Defense Minister Pete Hegseth condemned the shooting as a “cowardly act” and confirmed that in the upload at X that “Fast Justice will be upheld to the perpetrators and anyone who is proven to be involved.”
A number of shootings have occurred in US military facilities in recent years.In 2019, a US sailor shot dead two people and injured the other in the Pearl Harbor Navy shipyard, Hawaii.

In July 2015, Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez attacked two military facilities in Tennessee, killing four marines and a sailor.The FBI concluded that the attack was inspired by “foreign terrorist groups.”
Two years earlier, Aaron Alexis killed 12 people and injured eight others in Washington Navy Yard before being shot dead by the police.
Four years before that, a US Army Psychiatrist killed 13 people and injured more than 30 people at Fort Hood, Texas.
