Palestinian residents in Khan Younis cheer after the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza was approved on Thursday (9/10).
The agreement includes the withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza region as well as a prisoner exchange.
The agreement was ratified indirectly in Egypt, a day after the two-year anniversary of Israel’s aggression against Palestine.
This agreement is part of a 20-point framework designed by United States President Donald Trump.
Hamas called on Trump and the guarantor countries for Israel to comply with the terms of the agreement.
If implemented, it is believed that this peace agreement will have a positive impact on the dynamics of the Middle East region.
