Malaysian Volunteer Exposes Israeli Atrocities in Jail: We Drink Toilet Water
Global Sumud Flotilla volunteers from Malaysia who were illegally detained by Israel, Heliza Helmi and Hazwani Helmi, revealed the atrocities of the Zionist officers in prison.
“Can you imagine us drinking water from the toilet? Some people are seriously ill, but they (Israelis) say: ‘Did they die? If not, it’s not my problem’,” Hazwani told Anadolu Agency.
“They are very cruel people and I think the world should convey that Israel is a very cruel people,” he added.
He told of the bad treatment of the Israeli police when he was transiting in Istanbul, Türkiye, in the process of being deported to Malaysia. They and 20 other Malaysian volunteers have now arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (7/10).
Cases of snake attacks in villages are rampant, what’s going on?
The extreme rainy season has caused the swamp areas along the Padma River, Bangladesh, to be invaded by snakes that crawl into settlements and threaten local residents.
Bangladesh has recorded nearly 15,000 snakebite cases this year, with a total of 84 deaths recorded so far.
Swamp areas have long been a natural habitat for snakes, but flooding caused by very heavy monsoon rains this year has forced more snakes out of their hiding places and into residential areas.
Medical professor Abu Shahin Mohammed Mahbubur Rahman said at least 25 people had died from snakebites at Rajshahi Medical College Hospital since January 2025.
Israeli Minister Prays to Win War on Al Aqsa, Hamas Angry
Hamas strongly condemns the latest controversial move by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to again enter the Al Aqsa Mosque area in Jerusalem, Palestine, Wednesday (8/10).
In a statement, Hamas said that Ben Gvir’s actions were a blatant provocation that took place when ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza Strip had just begun again in Egypt.
Ben-Gvir, an extreme right and anti-Palestinian Israeli minister, again invited several of his entourages to enter the Al Aqsa Mosque complex on Wednesday morning local time.Ben Gvir prayed for “victory in the war, the destruction of Hamas, and the release of Hamas hostages.”
